2nd magnificent training camp in Ifrane for the 2nd year in a row with Radouane Rchouk, Imane Oujaa and my friends from the Ocean Rabat Triathlon Triathlon Club.
We were more than 20 participants of all ages from 10 to 49 years old (I was the oldest waiiiii) and we were in complete symbiosis.
The age difference no longer existed in the corridors of the university's beautiful swimming pool, nor in the magnificent athletics track of Ifrane and even less on the very challenging bike courses of the region.
It's crazy how we don't feel this "generation gap" anymore.
We all had the same goal, to enjoy this special training at altitude and have a good time together.
I was very touched and impressed by our 11 young champions (10 to 17 years old).
They are serious, they are motivated, they want it, they are benevolent and they are all supportive.
They carry the true values of sport and life.
From 8 a.m. they are there, fresh and ready to go.
It makes me think about what works here and doesn't work elsewhere... But that's another subject, isn't it.
A huge thank you to Redouane and Imane for their coaching, their presence and their dedication. We are very lucky to have you.
Thank you to all the champions present and to the super parents who are very involved, U guys make the difference.
Finally, this year was special for me because we stayed for 5 days at Al Akhawayn University, where I studied for 4 years between 1995 and 1999. My God it's dated 😅😅.
It was something to reminisce about those memories and share them with my kids.
Very grateful for all these moments, for our beautiful country and its wonderful landscapes after a great raining year.
